Heheh.. I know i’ve been a bit lazy with keeping the site up to date but it’s been hectic. Plus I had a Diablo 2 LAN this weekend. It was hardcore, that’s all I can say. Hope you enjoy the pic though!

Over the year, i’ve discovered that i’m not the only one obsessed with becoming a pirate. Swedes apparently have pirate-love in their blood. Being of Viking heritage of course i’m not surprised. You can buy all kinds of pirate products to decorate your home with. I have a pirate hand towel and a pirate sponge that were gifts to me. Today I went browsing for some more things I needed for the apartment and of course I also did some Livia-shopping and I found this killer shirt:

Yes i’ve done it, i’ve moved! Last Sunday I made the giant mission all around Stockholm (had to drive from the most south part of Stockholm to north) to get my things and buy new furniture for the new place. PURRI decided he wanted to move with me because there is fiber (100/100mb). Hah… go where the fiber is I guess!

For the past 5 days I have been insanely busy setting up the new place trying to make it look nice but the problem is that it’s pretty small so I haven’t even been able to unpack my clothes yet. The wardrobe had to be repainted and it looks really nice now yet there still isn’t enough room for my clothes! I had to throw out some clothes and shoes which made me very sad.

For the past 2 days straight all i’ve been doing is playing Diablo 2. About 2 and a ½ years ago I played this game non-stop for around 6 months, creating every single character and getting it to like level 90 or so. This time Mike and I decided to play it in hardcore (the only way Mike likes to play Diablo) which means that if your character dies in the game, that’s it. The following is all Diablo talk.

Attempt #1
I made a paladin and Mike made a necromancer. We came to Act 4 when it was time to kill Diablo. My paladin didn’t have that much health but good damage (I was making a zeal paladin). I had to take off all of Diablo’s health because Diablo kills the necromancers skeletons pretty fast. Diablo killed me at level 28! ARGH!!!

Attempt #2
After sulking about the death of my paladin I sucked it up and Mike and I made new characters. This time I made a barbarian (more health haha) and Mike made a sorceress. We made a great team and soon had reached the final Act in “normal” and killed Baal. To level up a little we decided to do some public baal runs. On the 2nd run a level 92 sorceress joined. Being a little weary (beacuse it was hardcore) we still stayed and wanted to kill Baal to see if he’d drop any items we could use. In less than 5 seconds, that level 92 sorceress had found us in the throne room and had gone hostile and killed Mikes sorc. In that fraction of a second, I saw the death message of Mike, heard him say “uh what?” and then heard the sound of the sorc going hostile on me. No way was I going to die this time so I saved and quit just in time.

Attempt #3
Now Mike and I will level my barbarian with his necromancer. We’re around level 50 now so i’ll let you know how it goes hehe.

Anyone that plays Diablo 2 will know how long it takes to get characters to level if you are only playing by yourself and don’t have a higher character there to help you level yours. So that was 3 days playing time.

Also i’m gonna be moving on Sunday! Hopefully it’s 100% certain this time, but the guy did say he was up to cleaning the apartment soo I don’t know how he won’t be finished by tomorrow

The reason Easter is symbolised by the Easter bunny and crap like that is because it’s supposed to be spring time, right? Wrong! For the past week it has been pretty cold in Sweden, with tempratures reaching around -3°C at night. I awoke this morning to find that the world around me had been covered with white marshmallows! Oh wait, it was SNOW! AHHHHH! Click the pics to see them bigger:

Because it’s Easter time, candy is a necessity. Yesterday PURRI’s parents took me to the candy store where I stocked up on Easter goodies. You know in Sweden they sell 3,000 tonnes of candy during the Easter holiday? Holy crap!

I was very excited the past week because it was set that I would be able to move into my new apartment on Monday or Tuesday (2nd or 3rd of April)… or so I thought! The apartment isn’t going to be ready for me (new wallpaper etc) by that time so I have to wait until like sometime the week after next to move. I am soooo frustrated. I spenta couple of days last week just going around furniture stores looking at stuff i’d like to buy for it.

Today I was walking around outside with my video camera taking video of stuff like the old Viking church ruins that are just down the street since I thought that I didn’t know when i’d have another opportunity to film there on a nice day again. But hah, it looks like i’ve probably got another 2 weeks to do it again, every day if I wanted to. Bleh.

Another thing that i’m pissed about is that the new video camera I ordered has DV out but they didn’t include a firewire cable with it (my luck ofc). Now I had a firewire cable but it’s packed away in storage. I didn’t mind waiting until tomorrow to be able to get it but since i’m not moving for a while then I guess you won’t be seeing any video from me for a while either. So with nothing really to do for about 2 weeks I think i’ll start watching the entire Dragon Ball Z series from episode 1.

I love it!
