I’m not dead!
Ok… it’s been the entire summer and I have not yet updated the whole time.. i’m sorry! So i’m not dead for those of you who wished (hehe) but I have had a really incredible summer! Hmmm where to start…
 CGS DRAFT UK

So luckily enough again I was drafted into the Berlin Allianz at the second CGS draft held once again in Birmingham, UK. From there we spent a really fun week together getting to know 2 new teammates and the other 8 it was great to see again. We basically didn’t do much competing after the draft tournament, although two new girls from the UK were at the tournament and basically cleaned up. Gratz strobe and Sarah Lou. We just did the usual photoshoots and that was about it so I spent a lot of time just being social…
CGS WORLD FINALS, Los Angeles

This year the CGS had done something different and instead of playing the European final in EUROPE, we all flew to LA to play the finals there. We ended up staying for like 2 months it was great. This time there were only 8 teams in the world finals so in order to be berthed to the tournament, we had to beat Stockholm. Easier said than done, the game was VERY close! But we scraped away with a win again this year just by 1 point (instead of 2 like last year) and made it back into the finals (wooohoo!).
Then we had to play against the UK champions, Birmingham for the title of continental European champion. Once again after a very tight match, we ended up losing in OVERTIME in Forza 2. Ouch!! But then after that I think our team was really sick of losing or winning close games and we all practiced really hard for our game against Sydney, our first match of the World Finals. Everybody stepped up their game that night and we took a relatively easy win in all games except counter strike, which we lost in overtime.
Our final match of the World Final would be against the San Francisco Optx, a team who had made it to the world finals with a wildcard slot. They were not to be underestimated and basically we got rolled. Getting rolled really sucks! So we once again took a 3rd - 4th place finish.
LAS VEGAS
To help heal the wounds of losing, 4 of us from Allianz + Fatal1ty decided that we would go to Vegas since we had over another week left in the USA. We just spent a weekend there but it was one of the most fun weekends ever!! We really partied like rockstars, a lifestyle which I could really become acustomed to!!
Going home wasn’t that easy, it’s hard to go back to a “normal” life after something like that. Besides, Sweden was really cold and I didn’t like that. So came another trip…
SICILY
Luckily through gaming I have friends and family all over the world and it was high time instead of spending time only with my friends, it was now family time. I visited a cousin that I have living in Italy and spent 3 weeks there lying in the sun, swimming and eating WONDERFUL food. I love it there, seriously. I’ve decided that i’ve gotta marry an Italian. I love the lifestyle there.. waking up at like 11am, eating a HUGE lunch, naptime, swimming, dinner, FIESTA!!
So all in all i’ve had a pretty killer summer. I miss everyone that i’ve spent time with this summer and I really hope I can have many more with them
It was my birthday a couple of days ago and the party isn’t over yet… Next up, party cruise!!
