Well I can’t really say it’s a big suprirse but today The Championship Gaming Series announced that they would be shutting down. I hoped that they would last at least one more year but given the current state of the economy and watching other businesses go bankrupt I guess it was inevitable.

I’m really going to miss everyone that i’ve met through the CGS. In the past 2 seasons i’ve been able to experience things which I would never have dreamed of through them. I had so much fun meeting everyone and have made some fantastic friends, which i’m going to miss about CGS the most, especially the Berlin Allianz! I’ll never forget all the fun we had in LA and Birmingham, and i’ll even miss those crazy team workouts!

I will never forget amazing moments for us like in 07 when Rudolf did something that no one expected, beating offbeat ninja 5 - 2. Then in 08 when our forza duo brought home the Stockholm game for us And of course the non-gaming moments like the pirate parties, Vegas, hiding from the security at Oakwoods, team dinners at the Cheesecake factory, waking up and not knowing where I was… We had some good times
