Last week I decided to play my first ladder games ever for the ESL Quake Live 1v1 European Ladder. My first opponent was dik, a Finnish Warsow player. As much as he negotiated, I stuck with the random decision of T4, a map which I had played only once before in Quake 3. I warmed up a little with fire_bot (thanks btw). Since he seemed to hate it so much I figured it could be fun if we were both total noobs playing it. He got an early lead but as soon as I killed him twice, I couldn’t find him until the end of the match, which ended in something like a 13 – 1 result. BOO!

Since then i’ve been playing a few more ladder games, winning some, losing most I know I need to heavily devote more time into duelling and practice, but I have too much fun playing Clan Arena right now.

On that note, I have some really exciting news about the girlz 0f destruction. Now this doesn’t happen often but we have recruited a new player to the ranks by the name of Videl. It’s a beautiful story… she sniped me on ESL, I sniped her back and the love began to blossom…. haha! Anyway needless to say, i’m very happy to have her on board.
