Cat temple to open in Moscow

A temple dedicated to kitty cats is set to open in Moscow, Russia. Not only will people be able to go there and check out different species of kitties, but those who are allergic can also take special classes to learn how to use breathing techniques to beat allergies.

Funny!! Maybe the Egyptians had it right and cats are to be worshipped! Kind of reminds me of that Futurama episode where kitties were the ones who enslaved humanity but then got a bit lazy and pampered… hehe.

Alienware Starcraft II Diorama Contest

Voting has started for the Alienware Starcraft II Dioramas and as a special favour, I’d like to ask you all to vote for Soe Gschwind-Penski’s! Not only is Soe the super cute commentator for Gamesports.de, she has made many drawings, models and papercrafts of our favourite video game characters.

I guess like the Backpacking Challenge, voting gets you in some kind of raffle to win some Alienware goodies…. and boy those laptops are sweeeeeeet! (I’m posting this from my M11x right now, hehe!)

I love how someone, somewhere is so keen on iconic video game characters that basically anything featuring them will be made. Well the latest comes from a French burlesque stripper who has created nipple pasties in the shape of the Super Mario power-up mushroom, Pacman and ~~the ghost~~ Blinky.

These are more cool than sexy though, but perhaps it could be paving the way for a new trend of gaming-themed strippers. Hell yes… i’d take a buff Link stripper over a cop or a fireman. Or the prince from Prince of Persia. Or Commander Shepard from Mass Effect 2. Or even Mario!

They won’t even need to get inventive for the music, it would be wrong to undress to anything but the game music! Someone start this business already!!

Would you guys like to pay ladies to strip off a french maid outfit… or a Lara Croft one? (LOL)

Man marries a pillow

A Korean man named Lee Jin-gyu fell in love with his dakimakura (basically a giant huggable pillow from Japan) and decided to marry it. Sounds reasonable I guess, I mean pillows are awesome, right?

The pillow had an image of “Fate Testarossa” from the “Magical Girl” anime series.

People call this dude an otaku, which loosely translates as something in between “obsessed” and “nerd” in Japanese. I love how theres even a special word to describe ~~people like me~~ those folk.

I think i’d be more weirded out if it was a real doll. How is it that a guy can marry a pillow yet gay marriage is still outlawed?!

JFK in New York is one of the busiest airports in the world, so it must have come as a huge shock to the pilots when they heard this:

The Federal Aviation Administration is pissed! Even if the pilots seem to be taking it lightly, the FAA issued this statement:

“Pending the outcome of our investigation, the employees involved in this incident are not controlling air traffic. This behavior is not acceptable and does not demonstrate the kind of professionalism expected from all FAA employees.”

Yikes! I bet this kid really loved the “join your dad at work day”. Hope he doesn’t get in too much trouble because obviously he’s being supervised! I just think it’s cute.
