Recently there has been an article released regarding a burglary that happened at the Home of Chrome (HoC — the gaming house I lived in last year) and it seems to have upset some people. The comments are getting out of hand and some of them are just retarded. But besides that, i’ve been getting bundles of messages with people threatening me (!!) with various things and calling me stupid names. Here’s a few points about what happened that some people seem to be quite confused about:

• Of course we went to the police about it straight away
• We had talked to MiBR regarding our suspicions of them before even going to the police, giving them a chance to give the stuff back if they knew where it was. In fact we asked everyone that was at the party if they knew anything and if they knew where the stuff was to give it back, MiBR weren’t singled out here
• You can’t sue people for theft as far as I know lol
• No one is encouraging racism of any sort, i’m guessing the only reason that their nationality is even mentioned is because it’s in their team name
• People don’t necessarily steal because they need money
• Not everyone at the party was Swedish. In fact only one girl that lives in the house was Swedish
• MiBR were invited by one of their Swedish friends that was invited to the party because kikoo had his birthday on the same day as mine
• Because we lived in the house so we could practice gaming, does that mean we have to turn into Jehova’s Witnesses and not celebrate birthdays? Don’t be rediculous.

Cogu from MiBR has also replied to this article saying:

“We did lie about our were-abouts cuz we didn’t want to you guys meet us upfront the hotel with half sweden wanting to beat us up cuz your false accusations, and we didn’t have time for testify for the police either, and you couldn’t prove anything from the party exept the fight maby, (and we can say that the fight wasn’t our fault, you guys provoked it).”

Actually before we even went to the police I called MiBR at the internet cafe they were practicing at and told them that stuff was missing from our place. Right away they were defensive before any accusations were made. I was very polite and told them that I didn’t want any trouble, the actual data on the things that were taken (pictures on the camera and data on the laptop etc) were more important than the monetary value of them. So I just asked if they did know the whereabouts of these things they could just give them back and all would be forgotten. No threats or implications were EVER made that we would go vigilante on their asses.

Regarding the fight at CPL Winter, I don’t know anything about it. However I certainly did not intentionally prevoke the MiBR guy I spoke to. I was reasonable and simply just said that I hope that if he knew who took the things (yeah, I didn’t even accuse HIM of taking them) that they didn’t just throw it away and I expressed that we were upset about the theft because it wasn’t the value of the things that got stolen but the stuff that’s irreplacable on them. When the guys were later “jumped” I wasn’t there so I don’t know what happened but I can just say that if the guy from MiBR I spoke to was prevoked by what I said then wow, no amount of diplomacy is going to work on these guys.

Anyway i’m done with this, the police did all they could and obviously we had enough speculated evidence against MiBR over other party guests for the police to follow through with an investigation. THE END.
